Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Parishioners, and Friends of
St. Peter and St. Paul Orthodox Church,
Christ is born! Glorify Him!
As we approach the cherished Feast of the Nativity, we are invited to contemplate the boundless forgiveness and generosity of our Lord. God, in His infinite love, bestowed upon us the most precious gift – His Son, Jesus Christ. This gift is an eternal testament to His desire for our salvation, a beacon of hope illuminating our path to the Heavenly Realms.
In the humility of the manger, we find the King of Kings, offering us forgiveness that transcends all understanding. As Christ declared, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst… it will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (Jn. 4:14). In Him, we find the fulfillment of our deepest yearnings, a wellspring of peace, love, and eternal life.
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16). In Jesus, we are gifted forgiveness, companionship, and the promise of a place in His Heavenly Kingdom. He is Emmanuel, God with us – a loving Father who knows us each by name and cares for us continually.
This Christmas, let us open our hearts to the full splendor of this gift. It is a personal invitation from the Lord to each of us, an offer of His love, forgiveness, and salvation, now and forevermore. Are you embracing this gift?
Join us in celebration on Sunday, December 24th, at 10:30 PM at our spiritual home, the Orthodox Church of Saints Apostles Peter and Paul. Prepare your hearts through confession, prayer, and fasting, to receive the blessing and the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ.
With love in Christ,
