Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The time has come for us to gather around a table of bounty and express our heartfelt thanks to our Lord. I’m thrilled to announce that our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner will take place on Sunday, November 12th.
Reservations Are Essential
We will have limited extra dinners available on the day of the feast, so it’s crucial that you make your reservations by November 5th. This ensures that everyone who wants to partake in this annual gathering has the opportunity to do so. As our Lord said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).
How to Reserve
Tickets can be purchased directly at the church after Divine Liturgy or by calling the parish office.
Recommended Donation
A recommended donation of $15 will graciously be accepted. Your kind contribution allows us to continue hosting events like this and further supports the church’s mission. In the spirit of thanksgiving and as we break bread together, let’s remember the words of St. John Chrysostom, who said, “Thanksgiving should be our constant occupation” (On the Priesthood, pg. 142). So, what better way to manifest our gratitude than by sharing a table of abundance, enriched by the love and companionship of our church family?
We look forward to sharing this time-honored tradition with you. After all, while turkey and stuffing may fill our plates, it’s the warmth of our shared faith and community that truly fills our souls.
Wishing you all a feast filled with grace and spiritual nourishment.
P.S. Don’t wait until the last minute to reserve—unless you enjoy suspense more than turkey! 😄
