Archdeacon Roman Skvarnavicius
Archdeacon Roman Skvarnavicius
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is with deep sadness, that I announce that our beloved brother Archdeacon Roman Skvarnavicius has fallen asleep in the Lord on Saturday morning (2/10).

Fr. Roman had been struggling with kidney cancer for several months. Many members of our community have known him since he was a young boy. He grew up in faith and dedicated his entire life to the faithful service to God and people and he left this life to the Desired Fatherland in peace and with prayer.

Our parish was blessed to have him as a concelebrant and a loving brother.

The services will be held at our church.

Funeral service will be on Monday, 2/12 at 6:30 pm and Memorial Liturgy and burial on Tuesday 2/13 at 10:30 am.

We know that Fr. Roman’s love touched the lives of many people and we expect numerous guests of clergy and laity. His Grace Bishop Nikon will preside over the services.

May the memory of the newly departed and ever-memorable Archdeacon Roman be eternal.
